Paediatric First Aid Course:

Duration: This course involves at least 12 hours of training and is run over two days.

Course Content:

On completion of training, successful candidates should be able to:

Duration

This course involves at least 12 hours of training and is run over two days.

Certificate:

The certificate is valid for three years. To renew, first-aiders will need to undertake a 12-hour Paediatric course to obtain another three-year certificate.

Annual Refresher:

HSE strongly recommends that first-aiders undertake annual refresher training, This will help qualified first-aiders maintain their basic skills and keep up to date with any changes to first-aid procedures.

The training is in line with the latest UK resuscitation guidelines from the Resuscitation Council (UK) as published on 18th October 2010 by the HSE.
